WILMINGTON, DE May 28, 2019 – McCollom D’Emilio Smith Uebler LLC partner, Jennifer Smith co-presented with Thomas Forrest, President and CEO of U.S. Trust Company of Delaware, on developments in Delaware trust law to the Delaware Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals on May 21, 2019 in Wilmington, DE.

Smith and Forrest provided updates on current Delaware personal trust law, explained the evolution of the 2019 Trust Act, and delved into the benefits of establishing a trust in Delaware. During their presentation, titled “Recent Developments in Delaware Personal Trust Law,” the pair discussed the advantages of Delaware’s trust laws, some roadblocks that may pose challenges in moving a trust, and what’s around the corner for the future of trust law.

This presentation is the latest hosted by the Delaware Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP).
