D’Emilio spoke at the Foundations of Delaware Trusts’ live Q&A event, “Estate Planning Strategies to Minimize Taxes and Control Wealth Transfer.” D’Emilio presented alongside Mark Doyle, Principal, Fiduciary Counsel, Bessemer Trust Company of Delaware, N.A

Topics included an overview of existing wealth transfer taxes, a discussion regarding possible upcoming changes to those taxes, and a review of various wealth transfer strategies available to clients to reduce or eliminate the imposition of tax.

The session was hosted by the Delaware Financial Education Alliance, an organization that provides financial literacy education targeted to persons of low- and moderate-income in the State of Delaware through a variety of educational programs designed to promote economic development and stability.
