Kerry practices in the areas of estate and trust litigation, estate planning and wealth preservation, estate administration, and advising individual and institutional trustees and other fiduciaries in all matters relating to trusts and estates.

Kerry advises clients on all aspects of estate and trust planning including wills, trusts, advance healthcare directives, powers of attorney, and probate and estate administration. Kerry also advises high net worth individuals on implementing sophisticated tax planning and wealth preservation strategies.

Kerry regularly advises individuals, trust companies, family offices, and other fiduciaries on estate and trust law, including the interpretation of governing instruments, fiduciary duties, and various transactional matters including trust modifications, terminations, mergers, decantings, nonjudicial settlement agreements, and trust situs transfers. Kerry also represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in trust and estate matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery and Delaware Supreme Court.

During law school, Kerry interned in the Veterans Law Clinic, completed a public interest externship with DuPont, and volunteered for the Wills for Heroes and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance programs. Following law school, Kerry was awarded an Equal Justice Works Americorps Legal Fellowship to provide legal advocacy and representation to military veterans and their families. Kerry also served as legislative counsel to the Majority Caucus of the Delaware House of Representatives.

Prior to joining the firm, Kerry was an attorney in the trusts and estates practice group at Cooch and Taylor P.A.
